Naayika - Block Printed Mata ni Pachedi Wall Art
Mata ni Pachedi is a traditional textile art of Gujarat. Over time, the Chitara community incorporated hand block printing into this practice, which later evolved as an independent art form. This piece carries motifs drawn from Mata ni Pachedi, hand block printed on fabric using natural colours and developed through the same boiling and washing techniques as Mata ni Pachedi Painting. It is well suited for creating a collage wall, thoughtful gifting, or collecting as a representation of living heritage craft.
