About Blue Pottery:
The Art of blue pottery came to Jaipur from Persia and Afghanistan via Mughal Courts.
Creating the right blend by mixing quartz stone powder, powdered glass, Multani Mitti (Fuller’s Earth), borax, gum, and water is at the core of Jaipur Blue Pottery. The pottery is completely different from the regular ceramics which use the clay from the river bed, which results in its uniqueness and exclusivity. The name blue pottery comes from the eye-catching cobalt blue color dye which is used in adorning the products.
Each and every piece of blue pottery ware is hand-painted hence unique.

Wonderful sturdy structure. The water smells and tastes delicious from this bottle. Cannot imagine using plastic bottles after switching to terracotta. The side handle is convenient to grip the bottle while drinking. Would love a coaster made of clay for this bottle included in the purchase. Even without it, it's gorgeous. Feels very special. Thank you. My water intake is more when I drink from clay bottles as I enjoy it compared to steel or plastic or silicon counterparts as it's natural.
