The artwork showcases Dashama portrayed in her magnificent, intricate and colorful temple. The artist has deviated from the traditional rule of composition by situating the deity at the bottom center of the painting and adopting a vertical orientation, as opposed to the standard Mata Ni Pachhedi paintings where the goddess occupies the central position. The goddess's significance is highlighted by the use of a red background, whereas the remainder of the painting is characterized by a black backdrop. Similar to most of Prosperity's Mata Ni Pachhedi collection, this piece features elaborate elements that narrate diverse stories and portray other goddesses, such as Vahanvati maa at the bottom left, which is venerated by seafarers and traders, depicted along with an intricate ship and ocean beneath it, accompanied by a series of folk goddesses such as Ambe, Khodiayar, Meldi, animal offerings, and the Bhava/Shaman performing Dana reading. Overall, this one painting provides an abundance of content to observe.
